Description
The design of the tile is centered on the representation of a large flower, reminiscent of a hydrangea, occupying almost the entire surface. The flower is composed of a large number of white and gray petals, arranged in a dense cluster, which are detached from light green branches and leaves. The composition is a single powerful motif, designed to be repeated in a modular fashion. The forms are fluid and organic, and the use of curve and natural contour is fundamental to Raspall’s modernist style.
The color palette is fresh and soft, creating an atmosphere of calm and serenity, very appropriate for a spa. The predominant tones are white and pale gray for the flower, contrasted by a light green in the leaves and background. The use of different shades of green and the yellow of the pistils adds depth and realism to the composition.
As a whole, this mosaic is a work that demonstrates Raspall’s mastery in integrating craftsmanship into architecture. It is a manifestation of the harmony between art and nature, where a simple tile becomes a piece of a puzzle that reflects the dynamism and decorative richness of Modernism.
